Barre Instructor in West Chester, Pennsylvania at ACAC Pennsylvania

We are looking for a skilled and inspiring Barre Instructor to join our fitness team and lead engaging barre classes for our members.

As a Barre Instructor, you will choreograph dynamic and effective barre workouts that combine elements of ballet, Pilates, and yoga to enhance strength, flexibility, and balance.

Your responsibilities will include providing clear instructions, demonstrating proper techniques, and creating a positive and supportive class atmosphere.

The ideal candidate should have a recognized certification in barre instruction, a passion for dance-inspired fitness, and the ability to motivate participants of varying fitness levels.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to successfully demonstrate proper exercise techniques
• Must be able to actively participate in classes
• Must be in excellent physical condition to teach classes
• Must be able to stand, move, walk, and bend for the duration of a shift
• Must have the ability and willingness to work varied shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Required competencies, education, and experience

• Current specialty certification in barre instruction
• High School Diploma preferred
• Prior experience teaching group exercise classes is highly desired
• Superior customer service skills
• Must have excellent communication skills to work positively with different populations
• Must be at least 18 years old

• Club cleanliness is an all-team responsibility; assist whenever necessary in any area of the club to keep club neat and clean
• Attend mandatory Personal Training meetings

• Assist with club programs, special events, or activities, as assigned by Supervisor
• Promptly respond to work-related correspondence
• Exhibit a positive attitude at all times
• Deliver outstanding service to members and guests, following acac’s Five*Star principles
