Job Description
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse and material handling operations in a fast-growing aerospace manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for supervising a team of Material Coordinators who support receiving, inspection routing, inventory control, kitting of production work orders, subassembly stocking, and final product shipping activities.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong organizational skills, a commitment to accuracy and process discipline, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring materials flow efficiently throughout the manufacturing process while maintaining quality, traceability, and on-time delivery standards required in the aerospace industry.
Key Responsibilities
· Supervise and support a team of Material Coordinators responsible for daily warehouse operations
· Oversee receiving activities for incoming aerospace parts, components, and materials
· Ensure proper routing of received materials requiring Quality Inspection and timely delivery of direct-issue items to internal stakeholders
· Coordinate receiving, stocking, inventory transactions, and material movement throughout the facility
· Support production operations by ensuring accurate and timely kitting of work orders
· Manage stocking and inventory control of completed subassemblies and finished goods
· Coordinate packaging and shipping of final products to customers in accordance with company and customer requirements
· Maintain inventory accuracy and material traceability in compliance with aerospace standards and internal procedures
· Help develop and improve warehouse organization, storage systems, and material flow processes to support company growth
· Monitor team performance, provide training, and promote a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
· Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Purchasing, Planning, and Engineering teams to resolve material-related issues
· Ensure warehouse operations comply with safety regulations and company policies
· Assist with cycle counts, audits, and inventory reconciliation activities as needed
Requirements:Qualifications
· Previous experience in warehouse supervision, inventory control, or material management in a manufacturing environment
· Aerospace, aviation, defense, or highly regulated industry experience strongly preferred
· Experience supervising or leading warehouse or material handling personnel
· Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
· Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and inventory management practices
· Understanding of receiving, stocking, shipping, and material traceability processes
· Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Physical Requirements
· Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs
· Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform warehouse activities throughout the workday
· Comfortable working in a warehouse and manufacturing environment
