Position Overview: An Electrical Punch Technician is responsible for addressing and correcting electrical deficiencies identified during the final stages of a construction project. This involves troubleshooting electrical systems, repairing or replacing faulty components, and ensuring all electrical work complies with relevant codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review electrical punch lists to identify and prioritize issues.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems to diagnose problems accurately.
• Repair or replace faulty electrical components, such as outlets, switches, fixtures, and wiring.
• Test electrical systems to ensure proper functionality and safety.
• Adhere to electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work and materials used.
• Coordinate with project managers and other tradespeople as needed.
• Assist with final inspections and obtaining electrical permits.
Requirements:• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of experience in electrical construction or maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to pass a drug test.
