DevOps Engineer for International Project in Lisbon, Iowa at IRIUM

We are currently looking for. DevOps Engineer for International Project

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze existing GCP setups (source org):
  • Projects, folders, IAM policies
  • Networking (VPCs, Shared VPCs, peering, VPNs)
  • CI/CD pipelines and service accounts
• Prepare, execute and support the migration of GCP projects between organizations, ensuring proper alignment with target organization standard
• Ensure minimal downtime and controlled cutover
• Validate post-migration:
  • Access control
  • Connectivity
• Collaborate with security and networking teams
• Document migration steps, decisions, and risks
• Present results to key stakeholders

Required Technical Skills (Must Have)

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Deep knowledge of GCP IAM, including:
  • Organizations, folders, projects
  • Service accounts and role bindings
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform on GCP
• CI/CD experience:
  • GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions or similar
• Experience with GCP networking:
  • NCC, VPCs, Shared VPCs, firewall rules, load balancers
• Linux and shell scripting (Bash)
• Strong Git knowledge

Nice to Have

• Experience with Cloud migrations
• Experience with regulated or large enterprise environments
• Python scripting
• Experience with BigQuery and Looker Studio (now called Data Studio)
• Containers and orchestration:
  • Docker
  • Kubernetes / GKE

Experience & Certifications

• 3+ years (Mid) of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering
• Proven experience working with production GCP environments
• Experience in migration or cloud transformation projects
• Certifications (strong plus):
  • Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer
  • Google Associate Cloud Engineer
  • Google Professional Cloud Architect

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Ability to work with ambiguity and evolving requirements
• Good communication skills (English required)
• Comfortable working with distributed and multi-disciplinary teams
