Location: Pasadena, TX
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (before/after-hours as needed)
FLSA Status: Exempt
A leading logistics and distribution organization is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee warehouse and distribution operations while ensuring safety, compliance, efficiency, and profitability. This role leads supervisors and staff, supports customer relationships, and drives operational excellence across the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with safety, OSHA, DOT, and site-specific policies
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and performance of warehouse personnel
- Maintain facility, equipment, and inventory integrity
- Support customer needs, walkthroughs, and inventory counts
- Identify efficiency improvements and business growth opportunities
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience; 3–5 years of related operations or warehouse management experience
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, safety regulations, and transportation processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; TMS experience a plus
Compensation:
Compensation is commensurate with education and experience.

- Combination of office and warehouse settings
- Frequent standing, walking, and lifting (up to 40 lbs.)
- Ability to manage stressful situations and shifting priorities
Work Conditions, Physical and/or Mental Requirements:
- Sedentary physical activity requiring reaching, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, feeling, repetitive motions, talking, and hearing
- Visual requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus
- 50% or more of work time is spent at a computer
- Frequent standing, walking, or mobility required
- Frequent lifting and carrying of a minimum of 40 pounds
- Ability to manage stressful situations as they arise
Duties are performed in both office and warehouse environments. Minimal physical effort is required, with lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds and occasional or frequent movement of boxes from one location to another.
