Job Description
As a Builder, you will play an essential role in repairing and rebuilding customer pallets to company and vendor specifications. This hands-on position requires strong attention to detail, a focus on safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, production-oriented warehouse environment. You’ll use hand and power tools to repair pallets while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards.
This position requires constant lifting of 75 lb wooden CHEP pallets and frequent bending, standing, and manual handling throughout the shift.
Pay Rate: $15.00 an hourGuaranteed Progression: 50-cent per hour increases at 90 days, 1 year, and annually thereafter for a total of 5 years, reaching the maximum rate at 5 years in this role.

Repair and rebuild pallets to meet customer specifications and quality standards.
Inspect and sort pallets by condition and type prior to repair.
Use hand tools and nail guns to remove, replace, and secure pallet boards.
Operate safely and comply with all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and assist with housekeeping as needed.
Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.
Follow direction and adapt to changes in work assignments or schedules based on business needs.
Report equipment or safety issues immediately to your supervisor.
Attendance and teamwork are essential functions of this role.
High School Diploma or GED required.
6+ months of warehouse, construction, or manufacturing experience preferred.
Proven ability to work safely and maintain productivity in a physically demanding environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Reliable and dependable with a positive attitude.
Commitment to quality, accuracy, and meeting production standards.
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse with exposure to dust, noise, and temperature changes.
Constantly: Standing, lifting, bending, and handling 75 lb pallets.
Frequently: Walking, grasping, reaching, kneeling, and operating tools.
Occasionally: Climbing or squatting.
Must be able to wear required PPE (steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection).
Must be able to hear safety signals and maintain situational awareness.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will primarily work in a warehouse environment. This may include exposure to dust, fluctuating temperatures (hot and cold), and moderate to high noise levels. Steel-toed boots and other personal protective equipment (PPE) will be required.
