We are currently seeking a dedicated RN to join our team at Physician’s Surgical Center. Our facility is a fast-paced Ear Nose & Throat (ENT) outpatient surgical center with a high volume of pediatric patients, making us a dynamic and rewarding place to work. Our surgery center has 2 fully equipped operating rooms with state-of-the-art technology and 6 admission/dismissal rooms. We may be a small team, but we are mighty in our commitment to providing the best care.

As an RN, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our patients. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of individuals and families in need.

Requirements:

Responsibilities:

  • Cover all areas of the center, including admissions, dismissals, operating room circulating, and recovery area (PACU).
  • Receive training and participate in the admission process and patient care coordinator area.
  • Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administer medications/treatments, and assisting with procedures.
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Provide critical care support to patients in emergency situations.
  • Educate patients on pre and post operative procedures, treatments, and self-care techniques.
  • Adhere to infection control and other healthcare regulations and protocols.
  • Performs other related duties.

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid RN license
  • BLS is required
  • ACLS/PALS recommended but not required (will be required after employment)
  • OR experience recommended but not required
  • A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle emergency situations calmly
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Demonstrates the ability to perform in an accurate and precise manner in crisis and emergency situations
  • Responsible and compassionate
  • Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Patient with excellent problem-solving skills
