**Position will be housed at the chosen candidate's nearest Central National Bank location. Frequent and routine travel among bank branches is required for this position.

Day to Day:
This role will serve as a senior retail manager, adviser and expert resource for an assigned group of retail field managers and ensure your assigned team and corresponding branches meet their customer service, compliance, personnel, financial, operational and growth plans. Other functions may include:
- Lead, implement and coordinate regional growth, profitability, customer service & regulatory compliance standards to achieve bank-wide objectives.
- Hire, train, lead and supervise designated retail field managers with goals earmarked and focused on measuring them, their staff and their branches retail successes and efficiencies.
- Ensure the creation of a strong Central/Banking image for the assigned region with an emphasis on developing a strong, enthused, well-oiled, consistent retail team who is civically, procedurally, and operationally striving toward excellence.
- Oversee, design and lead your retail team in training, development, and promotional efforts with a demonstrated focus on the customer and their banking needs.
- Qualify and serve as an expert resource, subject matter guru for retail and capable of troubleshooting the most difficult of retail challenges and inclusive of a drive toward excellence.
- A leader in building a promotional culture that leverages bank products, features, business lines and referrals in partnership with other bank divisions/departments in a courteous, gracious and productive manner.
- Designated member/liaison for the Bank's Retail Leadership Team and its assigned initiatives.
- Lead and enforce branch consistency, compliance, and accountability with a system of monitoring each of these timely and proactively.
- Lead the assigned region's staff resources by proactively troubleshooting and/or identifying with your team performance successes or issues and working jointly and proactively with HR in defining potential solutions and intervening timely to ensure the team members growth/success or timely departure.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Experience:
You may be wondering what we are looking for in a candidate. Qualified candidates should demonstrate five to eight years of similar or related experience and hold a college degree in a relevant field. Prior budgeting experience should also be demonstrated. Candidates must be driven to hire, direct, and motivate a highly qualified staff while promoting a positive culture. Also, candidates should be self-motivated and demonstrate a promotional and sales skillset. In order to monitor and evaluate financial trends and interpret numerical data, analytical and organizational skills are essential to this role. A product, policy, procedural and compliance driven mindset should be demonstrated along with a willingness to identify problems and branch shortcomings early on in order to tackle them proactively, timely, and assertively. Strong oral and written communication skills are also a must.
