This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Heavy Truck Driver based in the United States.
This role is centered on safe, efficient, and compliant transportation of heavy materials and equipment to support construction and field operations. You will operate large commercial vehicles and crane/boom trucks while ensuring all loads are handled accurately and delivered on time. The position requires strong attention to safety standards, regulatory compliance, and operational precision in high-responsibility environments. You will work closely with warehouse teams, supervisors, and construction staff to coordinate deliveries and material handling activities. The role also involves routine equipment inspections, basic maintenance checks, and adherence to strict operational procedures. This is a hands-on, field-intensive position with significant travel and on-site work across multiple locations. It is ideal for experienced CDL drivers who are comfortable working in dynamic construction and logistics environments.
- Operate heavy trucks and boom/crane equipment to transport, lift, and position materials and equipment safely at job sites.
- Ensure accurate loading, securing, and delivery of freight in compliance with all federal, state, and company regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, including equipment checks and routine maintenance tasks.
- Complete all required logs, inspection reports, and paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff, construction teams, and supervisors to ensure efficient material handling and delivery operations.
- Follow OSHA safety standards and company protocols at all times to ensure safe driving and equipment operation.
- Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and support basic diagnostics and maintenance activities.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record and background check.
- 2–3 years of recent heavy truck or CDL driving experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of safe driving practices, OSHA safety standards, and transportation regulations.
- Experience operating or willingness to operate crane/boom trucks and related heavy equipment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks in demanding outdoor and construction environments.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly in load accuracy, inspections, and documentation.
- Good communication skills and a professional, customer-service-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams in fast-paced field conditions.
- Competitive hourly rate: $28.05 – $37.95 (based on experience and location)
