Job Description
Develop and execute a regional go-to-market strategy across EMEA and APAC that aligns with Ataccama's global revenue goals, ideal customer profile, and local market opportunity. Identify high-potential markets, verticals, and partner channels across EMEA and APAC, and tailor the sales approach to regional nuances.
Hire, mentor, and lead a team of enterprise sellers across international markets, set clear performance and cultural expectations, and ensure learning and development mechanisms are in place for team members to achieve our goals.
Stay directly involved in key deals, supporting the team through complex sales cycles, deal risks, negotiations, and challenges.
Build and maintain relationships with senior executives at key customers and partners across international markets.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across a multicultural, multi-region team. Champion collaborative cross-functional communication.
Work with counterparts in Marketing, Business Development, and Partnerships to develop repeatable playbooks for winning new logos and building regional channels.
Partner with Customer Success to build a practical, repeatable approach to expanding existing accounts.
Maintain accurate pipeline visibility and run regular forecast calls and deal reviews.
Ensure Salesforce hygiene, enablement session attendance, and adherence to all global sales processes and expectations across the international team
Cultivate a focus on continuous pipeline building, monitoring pipeline health and activity levels to ensure consistent pipeline:quota coverage at the AE and team levels
Stay close to customers and markets across regions to understand where we're winning, where we're not, and why, and translate those insights into adjustments in strategy, positioning, and execution.
Handle escalations and support at-risk deals when needed.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
10+ years in enterprise software sales, with at least 5 years in a senior sales leadership role; experience building and scaling international sales organizations across EMEA and/or APAC strongly preferred.
Experience operating across international markets and adapting go-to-market strategies to regional and cultural nuances.
Experience in data management, or a strong understanding of the data management and governance landscape, highly preferred.
Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing, multicultural sales teams.
Experience selling into large, complex organizations and navigating long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
Strong judgement in deals, prioritization, and team leadership.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to execute and drive results.
Highly analytical and data driven, with the ability to consume and generate insights from pipeline, forecast, and bookings data.
Willing and able to travel 40% across EMEA and APAC for customer meetings, team engagement, and industry events.
