IT Infrastructure Engineer in Manhattan, New York at Manhattan, New York

CTG is seeking to fill an IT Infrastructure Engineer position for our client.

Location: Manhattan, NY
Duration: Client Permanent Placement

Duties:

• Support and maintain complex enterprise IT infrastructure and data center operations.

• Monitor systems, troubleshoot incidents, manage changes, and support infrastructure projects.

• Plan and coordinate hardware, software, system, and infrastructure upgrades.

• Research and implement technology solutions to improve performance, reliability, automation, and operational efficiency.

• Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution.

• Collaborate with storage, network, security, data center, and other technical teams.

• Document technical issues, project status, procedures, and solutions.

• Support infrastructure modernization, performance tuning, workload optimization, and automation initiatives.

• Participate in after-hours, weekend, and 24/7 support as required.

Experience:

• 4+ years of experience in data center engineering and operations, cloud engineering and operations, or complex IT infrastructure engineering; or equivalent education and experience.

• Experience supporting medium- to large-scale enterprise environments.

• Experience with enterprise monitoring tools and infrastructure management.

• Experience collaborating across storage, network, security, and data center operations teams.

• Experience with disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution preferred.

• Knowledge of infrastructure security frameworks and technical standards preferred.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and 4+ years of relevant experience; or

• Bachelor's degree in any field and 8+ years of relevant experience; or

• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $75,000.00 to $180,000.00 annually. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
