Drywall and Ceiling Estimator in Brazil at Jobgether

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Drywall and Ceiling Estimator based in Brazil.

This is a fully remote opportunity for an experienced estimator specializing in commercial construction and interior finishing trades. You will prepare accurate bids and detailed takeoffs for projects involving drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, and related finishes. The role plays an important part in pre-construction, helping ensure projects are accurately scoped and competitively priced. You will collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders while responding to RFIs and supporting project planning. The environment prioritizes accuracy, quality, and sound judgment over simply completing estimates quickly. You will integrate into established workflows while working independently and communicating proactively. This role is well suited to a detail-oriented estimator with strong knowledge of the U.S. commercial construction market.

• Prepare competitive bids and detailed quantity takeoffs for commercial construction projects.
• Estimate drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, and interior finishing scopes accurately.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and scope requirements to identify quantities, materials, labor, and potential gaps.
• Process Requests for Information (RFIs) and provide clear, accurate responses as part of the estimating and pre-construction process.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and conduct vendor outreach to gather pricing, availability, and project information.
• Support pre-construction activities and contribute to accurate project planning and cost development.
• Work closely with project stakeholders and integrate into established workflows through proactive and responsive remote communication.
• Manage an expected workload of approximately 15–20 estimates per month, adjusting output based on project complexity.
• Maintain a high standard of accuracy and organization while meeting deadlines and monthly estimating targets.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of professional estimating experience, with more extensive experience preferred for senior-level candidates.
• Proven expertise in commercial construction estimating, particularly drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, and interior finishes.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction drawings, specifications, quantities, materials, and estimating processes.
• Experience working with U.S.-based construction projects or clients is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with construction estimating software such as OST, Quick Bid, or comparable tools.
• Fluent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, judgment, and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage a full-time workload with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to meet estimate deadlines and monthly production targets while maintaining quality.
• A degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent combination of estimating experience and practical construction knowledge is preferred.
• Previous remote experience working within integrated client workflows is an advantage.
