This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Solution Consultant based in the United States.
This role sits at the intersection of insurance, technology, and consultative sales, helping clients understand how modern software can address their business needs. You will work closely with sales teams and prospective customers throughout the pre-sales journey. The position combines industry expertise, product knowledge, business analysis, and compelling presentations to demonstrate the value of technology solutions. You will uncover strategic and functional goals, connect them to product capabilities, and help clients understand potential business outcomes. The role offers meaningful customer interaction, exposure to evolving insurance technology, and collaboration across sales and technical teams. This is a remote opportunity with travel of up to 25% across North America.
Develop and deliver engaging product demonstrations that clearly communicate the business and technical value of software solutions.
Work alongside sales teams throughout the sales cycle to understand client objectives, requirements, challenges, and desired outcomes.
Conduct and coordinate client and prospect site visits as needed to support discovery and solution development.
Develop, present, and respond to proposals tailored to specific customer requirements and business needs.
Translate customer goals and functional requirements into relevant solution capabilities and compelling use cases.
Demonstrate how technology solutions can support business growth, improve productivity, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency.
Coordinate effective hand-offs to supporting internal resources at the appropriate stages of the sales process.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and prospects through a consultative, customer-focused approach.
Stay current on insurance industry developments, market trends, competitors, products, services, and emerging technologies.
Travel up to 25% throughout North America to support customer engagements, presentations, and site visits.
3+ years of experience in P&C insurance agency or brokerage environments and/or experience with Applied Epic or a comparable agency management system; equivalent SaaS sales experience may also be considered.
Working knowledge of configuring, testing, and using AI-based products.
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with confidence communicating both in person and through virtual platforms.
Strong organizational and analytical capabilities, combined with critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated interest in consultative selling and the ability to connect technology solutions with customer business objectives.
Strong customer orientation and the ability to establish and maintain productive professional relationships.
Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into relevant software solutions and business value.
Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in insurance and/or technology.
Candidates from diverse professional and educational backgrounds are encouraged to apply; a traditional technology background or degree is not required when equivalent relevant experience is demonstrated.
Targeted starting base salary of $85,000–$105,000 USD.
