Production Supervisor (1st shift ) in Totowa, New Jersey at New Cibo Vita LLC

Job Summary:
The Production Supervisor is responsible for directing daily production operations to ensure maximum efficiency, quality, and safety within a fast-paced food manufacturing facility. This role includes managing, training, and scheduling, as well as enforcing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP compliance to ensure all products meet food safety and quality specifications. The supervisor will identify process improvements, troubleshoot equipment issues, and maintain accurate production documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Oversight
• Ensure machines run efficiently.
People Development
• Train operators to meet expectations.
Continuous Improvement
• Support continuous improvement efforts with Engineering.
System & Reporting
• Complete DT, KPI, and system reporting.
Special Projects & Readiness
• Execute special projects and Sales Order readiness.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma required
• Experienced working with manufacturing equipment and machinery and experience of manufacturing process, GMP, SOP.
Experience in leading teams is essential. (3+ yrs exp)
Hiring Requirements:
• Ability to continuously lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to bend, twist, and walk throughout the shift
• Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift 8-10+ hours.
• Experience working with manufacturing equipment and machinery and an understanding of manufacturing process, GMP, SOP (3+ yrs exp.)
