Job Description
Curriculum Development Specialist
Let's Build Something Meaningful Together
At Stampin' Up!, we believe people matter most. We exist to create experiences that help people connect, belong, and build something meaningful—whether that's a business, a community, or a lifelong friendship.
For more than 35 years, we've been helping individuals around the world share creativity, build connections, and create lasting memories. Behind every successful Demonstrator, leader, event, and initiative is thoughtful learning that empowers people to grow with confidence.
That's where you come in.
We're looking for a Curriculum Development Specialist who loves transforming ideas into impactful learning experiences. Someone who is equal parts strategist, educator, collaborator, and communicator. Someone who can take complex concepts and turn them into clear, engaging, easy-to-follow learning that helps people succeed.
This role isn't just about creating training. It's about fostering community through curriculum, developing the whole person, and creating learning experiences that strengthen connections to our company and one another.
We lead with heart. We stay curious. We approach our work with confidence, bringing expertise while remaining open to new perspectives. And we believe our best ideas happen when great people work together.
If that sounds like your kind of environment, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do
As our Curriculum Development Specialist, you'll design and deliver learning experiences that support sales growth, leadership development, onboarding, engagement, retention, and business success across our global community. You'll collaborate with teams across the organization to create meaningful educational experiences through online learning, live training, presentations, events, digital content, reporting tools, and business insights. You'll help ensure we're teaching the right things, in the right way, at the right time.
What Success Looks Like
Success in this role isn't measured by how much content you create. It's measured by impact. You'll focus on creating concise, meaningful learning experiences that help people take action and achieve results. You'll continuously evaluate what is working, what isn't, and where we can improve. You'll balance multiple priorities, navigate shifting business needs, and maintain strong relationships across a wide variety of teams and stakeholders. Most importantly, you'll help people feel capable, connected, and inspired.
A Few Honest Truths About This Role
We believe the best hires happen when expectations are clear. This is a highly collaborative position. You'll often own the curriculum, but you won't always own the project. You'll work alongside project leads, stakeholders, creative teams, editors, translators, web teams, and subject matter experts. Sometimes that means your ideas evolve. Sometimes priorities shift.
Sometimes great work gets paused or shelved because business needs change. If you need complete creative control over every project, this may not be the right fit. If you enjoy partnering with others, influencing through relationships, and creating great work within a collaborative process, you'll thrive here.
This role also manages a high volume of projects moving simultaneously through multiple departments. We have incredible teams supporting content creation, editing, translation, publishing, and production—but those resources are shared across the business. Backlogs happen. Timelines shift. Patience, flexibility, and situational awareness are essential.
And while there will always be more ideas than hours in the day, our goal isn't to create more training.
Our goal is to create better training. We're looking for someone who values quality over quantity and can identify what truly matters to our audience.
