EQUIPMENT MANAGER

Piedmont Driving Club | Golf Clubhouse| $100,000 - $110,000

THE OPPORTUNITY

Piedmont Driving Club is seeking an Equipment Manager for our Golf Club property. In this leadership role, you will oversee the maintenance, repair, and performance of all golf course and boating equipment. You will manage preventative maintenance programs, coordinate equipment purchases and repairs, and lead the development of equipment-related team members. This position plays a critical role in ensuring our grounds operations have the tools and support necessary to maintain the exceptional standards our members expect.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Oversee preventative maintenance programs for golf course and boating equipment
• Manage equipment purchases, repairs, warranties, and replacement planning
• Supervise, train, and develop equipment maintenance team members
• Create and oversee the Assistant-in-Training (AIT) development program
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, inventory, and repair schedules
• Ensure all equipment operates safely, efficiently, and according to manufacturer standards

Requirements:

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Associate degree or higher required
• 5+ years of mechanical repair and maintenance experience
• 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience
• Experience repairing golf course equipment preferred
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively
• Private club, golf course, or related industry experience preferred
