San Diego-based Commercial Property Services Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our growing team.
Type: Full Time/Non-Exempt
Location: San Diego, CA (Sorrento Valley area 92121)
Pay: $25.00 per hour | Paid weekly
About the Position
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance/Move-Out Technician to assist with building turnover and tenant move-out projects. This position is responsible for performing general maintenance, repairs, cosmetic improvements, and furniture relocation to prepare commercial spaces for new occupancy.

You’ll do well in this role if you are:
· Hands-on and mechanically inclined (commercial maintenance experience is strongly desired)
· Organized and able to manage your time without constant supervision
· Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
· Comfortable lifting, moving equipment, and working both indoors and outdoors
· A team player who can also work independently
· Professional and customer-friendly when representing the company
Key Responsibilities
· Perform drywall repairs including patching holes, dents, and damaged wall surfaces.
· Prepare and paint walls, doors, trim, and other interior surfaces as needed.
· Move, relocate, assemble, and disassemble office furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
· Complete general maintenance and repair tasks throughout commercial properties.
· Install, repair, or replace ceiling tiles, baseboards, hardware, and other building components.
· Perform touch-up work to ensure spaces are clean, presentable, and move-in ready.
· Remove unwanted materials, debris, and abandoned furniture from tenant spaces.
· Conduct minor carpentry, patching, caulking, and finishing work.
· Assist with punch-list items and building turnover projects.
· Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment.
· Identify and report any major repair needs beyond the scope of the position.
· Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
Qualifications
· 2+ years of maintenance, facilities, or related field experience, ideally in commercial properties.
· Experience with drywall repair, painting, and basic carpentry.
· Furniture installation experience is highly desired.
· Basic plumbing and electrical troubleshooting
· Ability to safely move furniture and lift up-to 50 lbs.
· Skilled with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
