This is a fully remote clinical role focused on delivering high-quality psychosocial support to individuals navigating cancer treatment and survivorship.
You will provide evidence-based therapy and supportive care to patients facing complex emotional, psychological, and practical challenges related to cancer.
The role sits within a multidisciplinary care model, working closely with oncology, nutrition, occupational therapy, and research professionals.
You will conduct comprehensive assessments, guide patients through treatment journeys, and help improve quality-of-life outcomes.
This is a patient-centered position where empathy, clinical rigor, and collaboration directly shape care experiences and recovery pathways.
You will work in a structured telehealth environment that prioritizes accessibility, clinical excellence, and continuous improvement in survivorship care.
In this role, you will deliver individualized clinical social work services to patients with cancer, supporting their emotional well-being, care navigation, and treatment adjustment through structured, evidence-based interventions.
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to evaluate patient needs, strengths, and care goals.
- Provide evidence-based individual therapy and psychosocial interventions tailored to cancer patients and survivors.
- Support patients and families through psychoeducation, emotional support, and resource navigation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams to develop and implement integrated, patient-centered care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR) and track patient progress against outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare privacy and regulatory standards.
- Participate in coordinated care planning to optimize patient quality of life and long-term survivorship outcomes.
This role requires a licensed clinical social worker with strong experience in healthcare or oncology-related settings, combined with excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program and active LCSW licensure in one or more U.S. states.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with patients affected by cancer or complex chronic illness (OSW-C certification preferred).
- Strong experience in delivering therapy and psychosocial support using evidence-based modalities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build trust with patients and families.
- Comfortable working in a fully remote telehealth environment with strong organizational and self-management skills.
- Tech-savvy with experience using EMRs, G-Suite, and telehealth tools (AdvancedMD experience is a plus).
- Strong empathy, cultural humility, and ability to support patients through emotionally complex situations.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a multidisciplinary team.
- Competitive hourly compensation ranging from $55 to $75 per hour, based on experience.
