Schneider is seeking a Procurement Assistant in Green Bay to support the organization's shop network from a vendor relationship and supply chain management perspective. The Procurement Assistant will analyze invoices that are rejected for payment and review daily orders to confirm the successful transmission to vendors.
Responsibilities:
- Review invoices for incorrect billing dates and quantities and take the appropriate actions to ensure they are paid in a timely manner.
- Monitor daily orders to ensure they are successfully processed.
- Ensure suppliers are correctly established within the inventory management system.
- Monitor backorder reports and assist others in identifying alternate sources for out-of-stock parts.
- Maintain accurate pricing and part number information in the system.
- Set up blanket purchase orders for vendors.
Skills and qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- A minimum of 1 year of accounts payable, accounts receivable or corporate accounting experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
- Familiar with Oracle-based accounting systems.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
