Your work will help translate complex product benefits, rewards, fees, and terms into compelling customer-facing communications.
You’ll collaborate closely with Marketing, Creative, Product, Legal, and Compliance teams in a fast-moving environment.

Success requires balancing conversion-focused storytelling with accuracy, transparency, and regulatory requirements.
The engagement is expected to average 10–15 hours per week on an ongoing basis.

Accountabilities
  • Write original, engaging copy for promotional campaigns across email, social media, paid advertising, websites, and other digital channels.
  • Develop product messaging that clearly communicates credit card benefits, rewards, fees, terms, and limitations.
  • Create customer-facing educational, account management, and lifecycle communications that support customers throughout their relationship with the product.
  • Produce both short-form and long-form copy tailored to specific audiences, platforms, campaign objectives, and stages of the customer journey.
  • Collaborate with designers and product stakeholders to ensure messaging and creative direction work together effectively.
  • Maintain a consistent, recognizable brand voice across customer touchpoints while adapting messaging appropriately by channel.
  • Ensure marketing and customer communications meet applicable financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Partner with Legal and Compliance teams to identify regulatory considerations and address required disclosures before content launches.
  • Balance persuasive marketing language with accurate presentation of rates, fees, terms, conditions, and product limitations.
  • Incorporate feedback from Marketing, Product, Legal, and other stakeholders efficiently and professionally.
  • Manage several concurrent projects and promotional timelines while meeting quality standards and deadlines.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional copywriting experience specifically within credit cards, financial services, fintech, or a closely related regulated industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to create effective copy across email, paid media, social media, web, and other digital channels.
  • Strong knowledge of credit card products, benefits, rewards programs, fees, and consumer decision-making.
  • Excellent editorial skills, including grammar, clarity, tone, structure, proofreading, and brand consistency.
  • Working knowledge of financial advertising compliance and regulatory considerations.
  • Ability to translate complex financial products and requirements into accessible, customer-friendly messaging.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating relevant credit card or financial services copywriting experience.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to respond constructively to feedback from cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with overlapping campaigns and tight deadlines.
  • Experience with rewards-program messaging, benefits positioning, fintech or direct-to-consumer credit card brands, AI-assisted copywriting, SEO, or content optimization is a plus.
Benefits
  • Part-time, ongoing contract engagement of approximately 10–15 hours per week.
  • Remote work arrangement.
  • Opportunity to contribute to high-impact credit card marketing and customer communications.
  • Collaboration with Marketing, Creative, Product, Legal, and Compliance professionals.
  • Exposure to a regulated financial services environment and consumer-focused digital marketing.
  • Additional employee benefits offered by the broader organization may include paid time off, medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) with company match, company-paid life insurance, and short- and long-term disability coverage, where applicable.
  • Access to mental health and wellness resources.
