Legal Counsel aa in Germany - Remote, Thüringen at Jobgether

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Legal Counsel based in Germany.

This is a broad, commercially focused Legal Counsel role within a growing international B2B iGaming business.
You will provide day-to-day legal support across commercial, corporate, regulatory, and operational matters.
The role offers significant exposure to contract negotiations with customers, suppliers, platforms, aggregators, and other industry partners.
You will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams including Compliance, Commercial, Finance, and Product.
A key part of the position is monitoring regulatory developments and translating legal requirements into practical business guidance.
You will also contribute to governance, intellectual property, data protection, and wider legal risk management.
The role is fully remote across Europe and offers the opportunity to operate independently in a fast-moving international environment.

• Provide day-to-day legal guidance across commercial, corporate, regulatory, and operational matters.

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements, including B2B customer contracts, supplier agreements, NDAs, partnership agreements, and other industry-specific arrangements.

• Lead and support contract negotiations with online casino operators, aggregators, platform providers, suppliers, and other partners within the iGaming ecosystem.

• Advise stakeholders on legal and regulatory requirements affecting online gambling and casino games activities.

• Monitor regulatory developments across relevant jurisdictions and assess their potential business impact.

• Partner with Compliance, Commercial, Finance, Product, and senior management teams to provide practical legal support.

• Support corporate governance activities and general company legal requirements.

• Assist with intellectual property, data protection, and other legal matters relevant to the business.

• Coordinate with external legal counsel and regulatory advisors when specialist support is required.

• Identify legal, regulatory, and contractual risks and provide commercially focused recommendations and solutions.

• Qualified lawyer with relevant professional legal experience.

• Previous experience in the iGaming industry is required, ideally gained within a B2B supplier, casino games provider, platform, aggregator, or operator.

• Strong experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing commercial contracts.

• Solid understanding of the legal and regulatory framework surrounding online gambling and casino games.

• Ability to work independently and manage a broad and varied legal workload within an international organization.

• Strong commercial mindset, with the ability to translate legal considerations into practical, business-oriented solutions.

• Excellent written and spoken English.

• At least a good working knowledge of Russian.

• Strong communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.

• Comfortable working remotely and collaborating with international teams in a fast-paced environment.
