Position Overview
The Aggregates Procurement Analyst is responsible for managing and optimizing the organization's purchasing and materials processes to ensure goods and services are acquired efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with policies and regulations. Duties combine data analysis, process issue resolution, and strategic planning. The Aggregates Procurement Analyst develops industry knowledge, expands market presence, and contributes to the continued success of the Aggregates Division.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate the rental fleet across the Aggregate Group, including scheduling equipment rentals, arranging equipment pickups and deliveries, and verifying equipment condition upon arrival and return through photos and inspection reports.
- Process and track equipment rentals in SAP, ensuring accurate documentation and timely closure of rental agreements upon completion.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with rental vendors to obtain timely invoices and coordinate invoice approval and payment processes.
- Maintain and update a comprehensive rental fleet tracking report for financial review, cost tracking, and operational verification.
- Coordinate inventory management of parts, supplies, lubricants, and other materials required to support the Mobile Equipment Preventive Maintenance Program.
- Partner with the Mobile Equipment Manager to ensure adequate inventory levels are maintained to support service and maintenance requirements for rolling stock equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records within SAP and coordinate the pickup, transport, and delivery of oils, fluids, parts, and maintenance supplies to operational locations.
- Travel to storage facilities and job sites using a company vehicle as needed to support inventory control, deliveries, and supply verification activities.
- Coordinate the administration, ownership, and maintenance activities of the company vehicle fleet program.
- Work closely with the Procurement Manager to track fleet assets, vehicle assignments, equipment locations, and fleet operational requirements.
- Maintain vehicle title records and ensure all registrations, inspections, and compliance requirements remain current and up to date.
- Develop proficiency in Capitol scale operations and perform scale operator duties as needed to provide coverage during employee absences.
- Learn and support Capitol Aggregates procurement and purchasing processes, providing assistance with purchasing activities, project procurement, and related administrative functions as needed.
- Assist with special projects and perform other related duties as assigned to support operational and departmental objectives.

Education & Experience
- High School education
- 2 Years of work-related experience
- Associate degree from an accredited institution
- Experience in Excel and use of Analytics
- Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Experience in aggregates, construction, building materials, mining, or a related industry is preferred but not required.
Other Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets Company insurance requirements.
- Ability to safely visit active quarry plant sites while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to meet customer and business needs.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, ethical business conduct, and customer service.
- Commitment to following all Company safety policies and procedures.
