Job Summary

Calling all conceptual thinkers, team players, and eyewear aficionados — KREWE is looking for an Assistant Store Manager – Operations to join our Flagship New Orleans team.

The Assistant Store Manager – Operations is a key leader responsible for ensuring the store runs smoothly, efficiently, and in alignment with KREWE’s elevated brand standards. This role partners closely with the Store Manager to oversee day-to-day store operations, inventory, shipping and receiving, visual standards, store maintenance, and back-of-house organization.

In addition to owning operational excellence, this role supports the leadership, development, and performance of the store team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, solutions-oriented, detail-driven, and able to balance operational priorities with an exceptional customer and employee experience.

Responsibilities & Duties

Store Operations

  • Partner with the Store Manager to ensure seamless day-to-day store operations and execution.
  • Own and maintain operational processes, procedures, and daily checklists.
  • Oversee opening and closing procedures and ensure operational standards are consistently followed.
  • Identify operational challenges and proactively implement solutions to improve store efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and fully functioning store environment.
  • Coordinate store maintenance, repairs, supplies, and other operational needs.
Inventory, Shipping & Receiving
  • Oversee all inventory, shipping, receiving, transfers, and back-of-house operations.
  • Ensure all shipments are accurately received, processed, imported, and exported.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and proactively identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Conduct and support cycle counts, inventory audits, and other inventory initiatives.
  • Ensure product is properly organized, stored, and replenished to support the customer experience.
  • Manage shipping platforms and ensure all shipments are processed accurately and efficiently.
Team Leadership & Development
  • Support the Store Manager in leading, coaching, and developing the store team.
  • Manage and inspire team members to consistently deliver on KREWE's operational and customer experience standards.
  • Set clear daily operational priorities and hold the team accountable for execution.
  • Train team members on inventory, shipping, receiving, store procedures, and operational best practices.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to support individual and team development.
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and positive store environment.
  • Lead by example and embody KREWE's culture, energy, and commitment to excellence.
Guest Experience & Brand Standards
  • Ensure every customer receives an exceptional and authentic KREWE experience.
  • Support the sales team in delivering an elevated customer experience when needed.
  • Serve as a KREWE brand and product expert.
  • Consistently maintain exceptional visual and brand standards throughout the store.
  • Ensure the sales floor and back-of-house remain clean, organized, and presentation-ready.
  • Support store events, activations, and other initiatives that enhance the guest experience.
  • Partner with the Store Manager to ensure operational execution supports the store's sales and customer experience goals.
Qualifications & Skills
  • 3+ years experience in flagship level retail sales, clienteling, hospitality and store management
  • Proven experience overseeing store operations, inventory, shipping, receiving, and back-of-house functions.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand and execute against store KPIs.
  • Comfortable working with inventory management systems, POS systems, shipping platforms, CRM tools, and other operational systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move multiple objects and packages as needed.
  • Strong interest in fashion, design, eyewear, and the KREWE brand.
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and comfortable working in a collaborative and dynamic retail environment.
