Job Description
At True North Fleet Services, we’re looking for a Mobile Diesel Technician to support our trusted partner, Elite Diesel, based out of Augusta, GA. This role supports fleet uptime through preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and quality repairs on diesel equipment in a mobile service environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on heavy-duty trucks and trailers
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, brake systems, suspension, steering, and electrical components
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electronic issues
• Complete DOT inspections and ensure compliance standards are met
• Accurately document repairs and maintenance activities
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized mobile work environment
• Collaborate with drivers, service advisors, and leadership

Qualifications
• 3+ years of diesel experience (fleet, dealership, or independent shop)
• Mobile experience required
• ASE T-Series certifications preferred (T2, T4, T5, T6, T8) or willingness to obtain
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus, not required)
