FT - Fulfillment and Inventory Associate in Manhattan, Kansas at Booth Creek Wagyu

Booth Creek Wagyu is seeking a reliable Inventory & Fulfillment Associate to support the daily operations by managing product inventory, accurately fulfilling customer orders, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. This role is essential to ensuring our premium Wagyu products are handled with care and delivered accurately and on time to customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management

• Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming Wagyu beef products and supplies
• Maintain accurate inventory counts through regular audits and cycle counts
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies promptly

Order Fulfillment

• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Label, stage, and coordinate shipments to meet delivery schedules
• Ensure packaging meets food safety, quality, and presentation standards

Quality & Safety

• Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and temperature-control guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage, packing, and work areas
• Follow company policies and applicable USDA or state regulations

General Operations

• Assist with loading/unloading shipments as needed
• Operate basic warehouse equipment (scales, pallet jacks, freezers/coolers)
• Support special projects, events, or seasonal volume increases
• Perform other duties as assigned to support team success

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods
• Comfort working in cold or refrigerated environments
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented

Preferred

• Familiarity with inventory software or order management systems
• Knowledge of food safety or quality control practices

Work Environment

• Warehouse and cold-storage setting
• Hands-on, fast-paced environment
• Schedule may include early mornings, weekends, or seasonal overtime as needed

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in inventory, warehouse, fulfillment, or food handling
