Food Runner in Swampscott, Massachusetts at Mission on the Bay

The Food Runner is responsible for delivering prepared dishes to all guests, ensuring quality and expectations are met and to company standards while communicating and executing any needs or special requests. Stocking and maintaining plate ware and expo station supplies. Main Responsibilities:Provides excellent guest service according to expectations outlined in the training manualCarries out all tasks necessary to prepare the restaurant for service prior to pre-shiftEnsures entire table order is completed prior delivering foodCommunicates with team member regarding any guest requestsEnsures timely delivery of food following proper table and seat numbersInspects each dish prior to delivery, ensuring it meets recipes and company quality standardsEffectively expedite food from the kitchenMaintain cleanliness of work area.Complete daily and weekly side work on a consistent and thorough basis.Assist other team members as necessary and complete tasks assigned by the management team.Keep management informed of any problems, complaints from guests or other team members.Follow all company policies as outlined in company handbook.
