This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Video Editor (Meta Ads + Social) based in Brazil.
This is a high-volume video editing role focused on creating short-form content that captures attention and drives conversion across Meta platforms. You will transform written briefs and raw footage into polished, performance-focused ads for feed, Reels, and Stories. Working closely with creative leadership, you will help maintain consistent brand standards while supporting a rapidly expanding creative pipeline. The role combines speed, precision, and strong storytelling, with a particular emphasis on first-second hooks, pacing, retention, and commercial effectiveness. You will also contribute to organic social, website, email, UGC, and localized content. This is an ongoing remote engagement suited to an editor who thrives in a fast-paced, feedback-driven production environment.
- Edit finished short-form video ads from written briefs and raw footage, delivering strong hooks, tight pacing, captions, sound design, and deployment-ready assets for Meta.
- Optimize edits for viewer retention and conversion, prioritizing creative performance and audience engagement.
- Resize, reframe, and adapt concepts into multiple versions for cold acquisition, consideration, and retargeting campaigns across Feed, Reels, and Stories.
- Manage a high-volume production pipeline, consistently delivering approximately 30 concepts per month while maintaining quality and reliable turnaround times.
- Handle revision rounds efficiently and incorporate feedback quickly and accurately.
- Apply motion graphics, subtitles, color correction, sound design, and simple animation in line with established creative standards.
- Produce additional video content including organic social cuts, website and product-page videos, email clips, UGC edits, and localized or subtitled versions.
- Collaborate closely with the Creative Strategist and Creative Director to interpret briefs, maintain visual consistency, and continuously improve creative output.
- Use performance considerations such as hook rate and retention to inform editing decisions and strengthen commercial effectiveness.
- Participate in regular engagement check-ins to review progress, address challenges, and support a successful ongoing collaboration.
- Maintain reliable connectivity, use personal equipment as required, and follow applicable security controls.
Requirements:
- 4–5 years of relevant professional experience in video editing or digital creative production.
- Demonstrated experience editing short-form direct-to-consumer (DTC) advertising content for paid social, supported by a portfolio or reel featuring actual performance-oriented Meta ads.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Advanced skills in captioning, motion graphics, sound design, pacing, and short-form storytelling.
- Proven ability to work efficiently at high volume and maintain consistent quality under a fast-paced production schedule.
- Comfortable managing approximately 30 concepts per month across multiple placements and funnel stages.
- Strong understanding of Meta advertising formats and performance concepts such as hook rate, retention, and conversion-focused creative.
- Ability to follow detailed creative briefs, take direction constructively, and iterate quickly based on feedback.
- Low-ego, collaborative approach with strong attention to detail and reliability.
- Experience creating UGC, e-commerce, or social-first content is highly relevant.
- Ability to shoot video in addition to editing is a plus.
- Experience working with e-commerce or direct-to-consumer brands is an advantage.
- A genuine connection to mission-driven storytelling or relevant regional and cultural contexts is helpful but not required.
