Loan Closing Specialist in Greenfield, Massachusetts at Greenfield Savings Bank

Job Summary:

This position requires a hands-on individual with the ability to assist Originators, Office Managers, loan customers, and Attorneys in a competent, courteous, and professional manner. Must be familiar with all aspects of residential and consumer lending and have a sound working knowledge of departmental policies and procedures, rules and regulations, technical computer skills. Must be able to work independently. This position reports to the Residential Lending Closing Manager.

Duties (Essential Functions):

Minimum Qualifications

• Three to five years of residential mortgage lending experience, with an emphasis in mortgage closing operations, document review, and funding coordination.
• Knowledge of residential mortgage products, loan documentation requirements, closing procedures, and applicable regulatory guidelines.
• Demonstrated ability to review and prepare closing packages, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with lending policies.
• Strong understanding of the residential mortgage closing and funding process, including coordination with borrowers, attorneys, title companies, and internal lending staff.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple loan closings and meet established deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Pay is based on related experience, expertise, market data, and internal equity; generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
