Food & Beverage Supervisor - Rocky Point Golf Course, Essex, MD in Essex, Maryland at Baltimore County Revenue Authority

The Baltimore County Revenue Authority is currently seeking applications for a Food & Beverage Supervisor at the Rocky Point Golf Course, Essex, MD. We are currently in the process of renovating our food & beverage program with a brand new clubhouse. We are looking for an insightful, energetic, and enthusiastic leader. The Food & Beverage Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring an exceptional dining experience for all guests. This position is responsible for overseeing daily food and beverage operations, maintaining high standards of service, and supporting the management team in achieving operational goals. The supervisor will lead and motivate a team of staff to deliver outstanding customer service while adhering to health and safety regulations. They will also manage inventory, coordinate with kitchen and bar staff, and handle guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally. Ultimately, this role is essential in enhancing guest satisfaction and contributing to the overall success of the golf course's hospitality services.

Responsibilities:

Maintaining the highest of food industry standards at all times

Hiring and training staff

Creating weekly employee schedules

Hands on fresh food preparation, service, and proper cleaning every shift

Maintaining proper inventory levels for all food & beverage products

End of Month Inventory

Placing daily / weekly food orders

Handle daily cash and credit card transactions

Qualifications:

Must be at least 21 years of age as beer and cocktails are sold

At least 2 years experience in a supervisory capacity in a food & beverage field

Strong culinary skills with a solid knowledge of industry health standards

Food Manager/ServSafe and TAM/TIPS certification is required

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekdays, weekends and holidays

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Ability to update the HACCP plan

Experience in catering for up to 150 people is highly preferred

An interest in the game of golf would be considered an asset. This is a tipped position with golf benefits.
