Shift: 2nd shift, Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM (occasional Saturday OT)
Pay: $23.50 to $28.00 per hour, based on experience and certifications, plus a $1.50/hour shift differential for 2nd shift
Reports to: Welding Shift Lead

Achilles Manufacturing Company is hiring experienced MIG and TIG welders to join our 2nd shift welding team. In this role you will read blueprints and weld symbols, set up your station, and produce clean, strong welds on carbon steel and aluminum assemblies that ship to some of the biggest names in automotive and agricultural equipment. You will be trusted to inspect your own work and stop the line if something is not right. We take pride in getting the part right the first time.

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on production assemblies to print and to spec

• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions

• Set up and adjust welding equipment, jigs, and fixtures

• Inspect your own welds for quality and dimensional accuracy

• Grind, clean, and prep parts before and after welding

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area (5S)

• Report equipment issues and quality concerns to the shift lead

• Meet daily production and quality targets

• 2+ years of production MIG and TIG welding experience

• Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols

• Comfortable welding carbon steel and aluminum

• Able to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout an 8-hour shift

• High school diploma or GED

• Reliable attendance and a safety-first mindset

• AWS welding certification

• Experience in an automotive or IATF 16949 environment

• Forklift or overhead crane experience

• Starting pay above market with shift differential
