Public Safety Patrol Officer Act 235 in Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania at A POCONO COUNTRY PLACE PROPERTY

We are seeking professional, observant, and community-minded Public Safety Act 235 Patrol Officers. In this role, you will be the visible presence of security and hospitality within our association. Our officers focus heavily on proactive community relations, property protection, and providing exceptional customer service to residents while ensuring rules and regulations are respected.

Key Responsibilities:
• Proactive Patrols: Conduct routine vehicle or foot patrols of all Association roads, amenities, and common areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Rule Enforcement: Monitor and enforce community bylaws, including parking restrictions, noise complaints, traffic calming efforts and property rules.
• Incident Documentation: Write detailed, accurate, and professional incident reports for property damage, rule violations, or suspicious activity to present to shift supervisors.
• Resident Assistance: Respond directly to resident calls for service, ranging from welfare checks, security issues or alarm activations.
• Access & Intersections: Assist the dispatch and gate house teams by verifying unexpected visitors or checking unsecured perimeter lines.
• Emergency Response: Act as a first responder to accidents or medical emergencies on property, providing initial support until municipal emergency services arrive.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills, with a heavy emphasis on polite customer service.
• Ability to handle conflict calmly and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Comfortable using computers, tablets, and digital report-writing software.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Prior experience in security or military service is a plus, but not required (comprehensive training provided).
• Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.

Schedule & Availability:
• 24/7/365 Operations: Our community relies on constant protection. Candidates must have open availability as schedules will vary.
• Shift Expectations: Shift assignments may include days, afternoons, overnights, weekends, and holidays to ensure continuous coverage.
