Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the bar area and ensure the bar is set up properly and ready for service

• Order and stock beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, and produce based on daily function projections

• Process guest payments accurately, make change as needed, verify charges, record transactions, and ensure vouchers are completed properly

• Recommend and promote drink options, document drink orders, prepare drinks using standard recipes for mixes, garnishes, and presentations

• Provide excellent service to internal and external guests, using patience, tact, and diplomacy to de-escalate concerns, gather accurate information, and resolve issues.
• Understand, follow, and execute directions accurately and on time.
• Deliver consistently excellent customer service in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Previous bartending experience is required.
• Hotel experience is preferred but not required.
• Operate a keyboard and follow point-of-sale (POS) procedures to pre-check orders and close guest checks.
• Continuously stand or walk for 95% of the scheduled shift.
