This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Especialista Agronômico - Campinas/SP based in Brazil.

This is a full-time, fully remote opportunity focused on agronomic research, innovation, and product development.
You will lead initiatives to develop and validate technologies that improve plant nutrition, agricultural productivity, and sustainability.
The role covers the full product development cycle, from technical concept and experimental design through agronomic validation and launch support.
You will collaborate with researchers, consultants, universities, and internal R&D, marketing, commercial, and market development teams.
Your work will translate scientific research and field data into actionable insights, technical positioning, and new product opportunities.
The position combines scientific expertise, project leadership, data analysis, and strategic stakeholder management in a global environment.

Accountabilities
  • Lead agronomic research, innovation, and product development initiatives focused on plant nutrition technologies, including fertilizers, biostimulants, and solutions designed to improve productivity and agricultural sustainability.
  • Manage the full product development cycle, from technical concept and feasibility assessment through experimental validation, agronomic performance evaluation, and launch support.
  • Design and implement agronomic research programs, defining experimental protocols, selecting and managing research partners, monitoring field trials, and ensuring the quality and reliability of generated data.
  • Manage research and development projects from experiment installation and execution through statistical analysis, technical reporting, and communication of key findings to local and global R&D teams.
  • Lead innovation and new product development projects, validating agronomic performance and supporting the expansion and optimization of the product portfolio.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with professors, researchers, consultants, and leading research institutions in soil fertility, plant nutrition, and plant physiology.
  • Generate, consolidate, and disseminate technical knowledge through reports, scientific publications, presentations, and technical materials.
  • Provide scientific and technical support to R&D, Market Development, Marketing, and Commercial teams, strengthening product positioning and supporting recommendations, training, and communication strategies.
  • Review and validate scientific content, technical publications, institutional materials, and product-related claims to ensure technical accuracy and consistency.
  • Represent the organization at technical events and industry forums while monitoring market trends, scientific advances, and emerging agricultural technologies.
  • Provide technical and scientific support to internal stakeholders and contribute to strategic growth initiatives through research-based insights.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Agronomic Engineering.
  • Master's and PhD degrees in Plant Nutrition, Soil Fertility, Plant Physiology, or closely related fields.
  • Strong professional experience in agronomic research, product development and validation, experimental design, and statistical data analysis.
  • Experience with statistical analysis using R is preferred.
  • Proven experience preparing technical reports and managing research and development projects.
  • Advanced English proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively in meetings and presentations with global teams.
  • Availability for frequent travel.
  • Strong scientific reasoning, analytical skills, and the ability to translate research findings into practical business and agronomic recommendations.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder relationship skills, with the ability to work effectively across research, technical, commercial, and corporate teams.
  • Experience with biostimulants, biological products, and technologies focused on mitigating agricultural stresses is a plus.
  • Knowledge of regulatory processes for the registration and launch of new agricultural products is desirable.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and scientifically rigorous approach to research and innovation.
