Field Sales Engineer in at Alfamation Spa

Since 1991, Alfamation has been a leading company in creating and producing solution and test systems for the electronics, automotive, microelectronics, and optoelectronics sectors.

Since 2024, it has been part of the electronics division of inTEST Corporation, a multinational group listed on the stock exchange and based in New Jersey.

In a technological and innovative context, we designed and developed customized tools and test solutions for our customers from the initial definition of requirements to after-sales service.

For this US remote position, we are looking for a Sales Engineer mainly supporting Flexmedia and Pixelshooter products but could also be involved with selling other Alfamation products.

Reporting to the Company’s VP of Sales, you will be responsible for:

• Managing and developing the sale of test products to introduce new customers and increase penetration into existing customers;

• Providing technical advice to customers in the pre and post-sales phase;

• Developing a stable and lasting relationship with the customer, implementing strategies aimed at loyalty and satisfaction.

• Being a point of contact between the needs of external customers and the internal team;

• Supporting in presenting products to customers and during the trade fairs;

• Learning and demonstrating Flexmedia equipment in customer-facing sales activities, evaluations, and product presentations;

• Providing technical support where possible for Flexmedia equipment, Pixelshooter products, and other Alfamation products;

• Supporting customer training, proof-of-concept activities, and internal feedback loops to improve product positioning and customer success;

• Complying with the KPIs and targets assigned by the company on sales performance in qualitative and quantitative terms.

Who we are looking for:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in product sales, preferably in the field of test products;

• Knowledge of National Instruments platform/software is preferred; ability to learn additional test platforms and product tools is required;

• Ability to quickly learn, explain, and demonstrate Flexmedia equipment, Pixelshooter products, and other Alfamation products;

• Studies in Electronic Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience is a plus;

• Strong communication and negotiation skills;

· Excellent problem-solving skills;

· Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required (+50%).
