Tech Lead - Plataformas Digitais

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Tech Lead - Plataformas Digitais based in Brazil.

As a Tech Lead, you will lead the technical evolution of digital platforms, balancing hands-on expertise with strategic decision-making.
You will guide development teams while ensuring solutions are scalable, performant, reliable, and aligned with business goals.
The role involves close collaboration with Product, Design, and Business stakeholders to turn strategic priorities into effective technology solutions.
You will influence architecture, technical standards, development practices, and the evolution of the technology stack.
Beyond delivery, you will foster continuous improvement through mentorship, knowledge sharing, and strong engineering practices.
You will have autonomy to prioritize technical initiatives and contribute directly to the long-term evolution of digital products.

Accountabilities
  • Lead the technical development of digital platform projects, ensuring high standards of quality, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Act as the team's technical reference, supporting architecture decisions and the adoption of engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Business teams to translate strategic objectives into effective digital solutions.
  • Manage and prioritize the team's technical and operational demands, balancing delivery needs with long-term platform evolution.
  • Contribute actively to the definition and execution of the technical roadmap and evolution of the technology stack.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, technical excellence, mentorship, and knowledge sharing.
  • Support the team in adopting robust practices for version control, automated testing, continuous integration, and software quality.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and help ensure technology choices remain aligned with scalability and business requirements.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of proven experience in software development and digital platforms, with strong hands-on technical expertise.
  • Solid knowledge of modern programming languages and frameworks, such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React, Next.js, or comparable technologies.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture, REST APIs, GraphQL, and both relational and non-relational databases.
  • Previous experience leading technical teams, engineering initiatives, or technology projects.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or similar approaches.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including version control, automated testing, and continuous integration.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership, prioritization, problem-solving, and mentoring capabilities.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes, is desirable.
  • Experience with high-traffic, high-user-volume platforms is an advantage.
  • Active participation in technical communities or open-source projects is considered a plus.
