About the RoleNLG is seeking an analytical and detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team. This role will support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and business analysis across the organization. Working closely with finance leadership and operational teams, you'll help provide meaningful insights that drive informed business decisions and improve financial performance.

Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Finance, Accounting, or a related analytical role
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP, and financial modeling
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting software
- Experience using Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools
- Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Experience supporting multiple business units or locations
- CPA, CMA, or pursuit of a professional certification is a plus
- Assist with the annual budget and monthly forecasting processes
- Prepare recurring financial reports, dashboards, and management reporting packages
- Analyze financial results and explain budget-to-actual and forecast variances
- Develop and maintain financial models to support operational and strategic decision-making
- Partner with department leaders to monitor budgets and identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights
- Support month-end and quarter-end financial close by validating financial data and preparing analysis
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as requested by leadership
- Continuously improve financial reporting processes and analytical tools
The ideal candidate is naturally curious, highly analytical, and comfortable working with large datasets. Strong Excel skills are essential for building financial models, analyzing trends, and supporting forecasting activities. Success in this role also requires excellent attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to collaborate with leaders across the organization. Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau is beneficial, as is a desire to continuously improve reporting and financial processes.
