Asphalt Laborer in Jacksonville, Florida at Total Concrete Repairs Inc

Job Summary:

The Asphalt Laborer assists the asphalt crew in the preparation, placement, spreading, and finishing of asphalt on roads, parking lots, driveways, and other paved surfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with asphalt paving, patching, and repair operations

• Rake, shovel, and spread hot asphalt to specified grade and depth

• Prepare and clean job sites, including traffic control setup

• Support equipment operators and compact asphalt

• Follow OSHA, DOT, and company safety policies

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor conditions

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds

• Reliable attendance and teamwork

Work Environment:

• Outdoor construction sites with exposure to heat, heavy equipment, and traffic
