The DeLong Co. is looking for a reliable Yard Hostler Driver to keep our warehouse logistics operation running smoothly. It's a focused, consistent role with a predictable schedule and room to expand your responsibilities if you hold a CDL.

AT A GLANCE

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Standard Shift: Monday - Friday, 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Weekend Rotation: Every other Saturday, 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM

CDL Required: No — but highly desired for expanded export duties

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Yard Hostler Driver, you'll be the engine behind our yard operations — repositioning trailers, supporting dock operations, and keeping everything moving on schedule. Day to day, you will:

• Shuttle and reposition dry box trailers throughout the facility yard to support loading and unloading schedules
• Back trailers into loading docks with precision and confidence — this is a core skill for this role
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections on all equipment
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all facility safety protocols without exception
• For CDL holders: run export loads as business needs require, expanding your role beyond yard duties

Requirements

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Proven experience in yard hostling or commercial driving — you know what you're doing behind the wheel
• Demonstrated ability to back trailers into loading docks safely and efficiently
• Strong reliability and punctuality — your team counts on you to show up and be ready
• A safety-first mindset and attention to detail during inspections and yard movement
• CDL (Class A preferred) — not required for yard duties, but opens the door to export responsibilities and additional earning potential
