Maintenance Specialist in Danville, Arkansas at 3D Corporate Solutions

SUMMARY: The purpose of the Maintenance Specialist position is to maintain and improve parts inventory for all Pet Solutions locations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain organization and cleanliness of parts barn and surrounding grounds
• Maintain inventory of parts
• Order parts and supplies for plant
• Schedule pick up and/or delivery of parts and supplies
• Work closely with vendors via phone and in person meetings
• Issue and process purchase orders
• Process invoices in Sage
• Maintain order status worksheets
• Maintain work order system
• Organize and distribute deliveries
• Work closely with Corporate office for month/quarter end reconciliation
• Work closely with management to ensure adequate parts/supplies are obtained
• Procure and maintain rental equipment and adhere to budget
• Assist management with quotes for CER’s
• Research cost saving opportunities
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in manufacturing operations; maintenance experience a plus
• Ability to demonstrate effective communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Understanding of cause and effect of all operations
• Knowledge of product specifications
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Must be able to work in both a hot humid environment as well as a cold wet conditions for up to 12 hours at a time
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs on an a frequent basis, including lifting at shoulder level or above
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs on an infrequent basis
