Job Description
Join a Growing Manufacturing Team
Quality Electrical Systems (QES) is expanding our copper manufacturing operations and is looking for dependable, mechanically inclined individuals to join our production team.
As a Copper Manufacturing Operator, you'll work with advanced manufacturing equipment to produce high-quality copper components used in electrical power distribution systems. This is a hands-on position with opportunities to learn multiple manufacturing processes and develop new technical skills.

What You'll Do
As part of our cross-trained production team, you may:
Operate manufacturing equipment after completing training
Support copper casting, extrusion, drawing, fabrication, tin plating, and waterjet cutting operations
Read work orders, blueprints, and production instructions
Perform quality inspections using measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers
Load, move, stage, and organize materials throughout production
Complete equipment inspections and basic operator maintenance
Identify and report quality, safety, or equipment concerns
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements

We're seeking individuals who have:
Manufacturing, fabrication, machine operation, production, or industrial experience preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment
Ability to read work instructions and follow established procedures
Basic measuring and inspection skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Dependable attendance and positive teamwork
Safety-first mindset

Experience with any of the following is a plus:
Machine operation
Metal fabrication
Copper processing
Casting
Extrusion
Waterjet cutting
Tin plating
Material handling
Forklift or overhead crane operation
Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:
Stand and walk for extended periods
Lift up to 50 pounds with assistance when needed
Bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive tasks
Work around industrial equipment, moving machinery, heat, noise, and heavy materials
Wear required PPE, including safety glasses, steel-toe boots, hearing protection, gloves, and other task-specific safety equipment
