Job Description

Starting Salary Range: $32.98 base wage

Location: Everett, WA

Classification: This position is classified as a union role.

Position Overview:

The Warehouse Worker plays a critical role in supporting our commercial mechanical contracting operations by ensuring materials, tools, and equipment are received, stored, and distributed accurately and efficiently. This position helps maintain a well-organized and safe warehouse environment to support field teams and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming tools, materials and equipment for accuracy and quality.
  • Accurately pick, stage, and prepare tools, materials and equipment for scheduled deliveries to job sites.
  • Maintain up-to-date inventory records using warehouse management systems or manual logs.
  • Organize warehouse stock in a logical and accessible manner to support efficient operations.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Assist with warehouse layout planning and optimize space utilization based on changing project needs.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload delivery trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Support tool tracking efforts, including checking tools in/out to field staff and maintaining usage records.
  • Assist with packing and organizing materials for long-term storage or off-site staging.
  • Participate in warehouse safety meetings and contribute to hazard identification and mitigation.
  • Help with minor facility maintenance tasks or fleet management and maintaining cleanliness of outdoor areas.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (training provided if needed).
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working on your feet throughout the shift.

Preferred Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or construction environment preferred.

Required Licensing and Other Certifications:

  • Maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
