Job Description

Pay = base pay + commission
  • Assists mortgage loan officer in taking residential loan applications and gathering information needed to verify that application data is complete and meets credit union standards, including type and amount of mortgage, borrower assets, liabilities, and length of employment; recommends that loans not meeting standards be denied.
  • Properly prepare files for submission to processing. This entails reviewing file to make sure all disclosures have been accurately provided to the borrower and necessary income and asset documentation has been received from the borrower.
  • Establish appointments with members and assist them with the application process.
  • Stay acquainted with Loan Officer’s daily schedule.
  • Pull daily, weekly and monthly reports as assigned.
  • Process web applications, phone applications and walk-ins for the loan officer.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Document collection and outstanding-item tracking
  • Pipeline management and loan milestone follow-up
  • Coordination with processing, underwriting, and other mortgage department.
  • Realtor and referral-partner communication
  • Appointment and calendar coordination
  • CRM and database management
