At Hibernia Home Care, we support people to live well and independently in their own homes across Dublin North, Dublin South, Kildare and Wicklow. As an HSE-funded home care provider, we deliver community care, palliative care, dementia care, disability support, respite care, companionship and domestic assistance.

Our purpose is simple: to be the change we want to see in the world of home care, delivering the very best experience for both our carers and our clients. We want our social channels to reflect that purpose and tell the stories that matter.

The Role

We're looking for a creative and organised Freelance Content Manager & Creator to lead our social media presence across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and our website.

You'll be responsible for planning, creating, publishing and reporting on content that engages three key audiences:

  • Families and individuals seeking care services

  • Healthcare partners and community stakeholders

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the voice and visibility of a growing care organisation while sharing meaningful stories that make a difference.

  • Create original content, including:
    • Short-form video
    • Photography
    • Graphics and carousels
    • Website and social media copy
  • Capture and share authentic stories about our carers, training programmes and the impact of home care, while maintaining dignity and respect for those involved
  • Support recruitment campaigns with content that showcases our culture and values
  • Manage community engagement, including comments, messages and reviews, escalating sensitive matters where appropriate
  • Ensure all content aligns with our brand guidelines and visual identity
  • Produce monthly performance reports covering reach, engagement and recruitment leads, alongside clear recommendations for improvement
What You'll Bring
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating content creation across multiple platforms
  • Experience within healthcare, social care or the community sector is desirable but not essential
  • Confidence filming, photographing and editing content independently
  • Excellent written communication skills with a clear, warm and accessible style
  • Strong understanding of consent, privacy and GDPR requirements
  • Excellent organisation and reliability, with the ability to manage deadlines independently
  • Experience using tools such as Meta Business Suite, Canva, CapCut and social media scheduling platforms
Nice to Have
  • Experience supporting recruitment marketing campaigns
  • Experience managing paid social media advertising
  • Knowledge of the Irish health and social care sector
  • Full clean EU/IRL driving licence with own transport
What We Offer
  • 18 per hour, approximately 10 hours per week
  • Flexible, predominantly remote working
  • Occasional opportunities to attend our offices and community events
  • The chance to tell meaningful stories that genuinely impact people's lives
  • A supportive team that values creativity and new ideas
  • The opportunity to shape and grow the digital presence of a developing care organisation
