Job Description
Job duties:
Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan the development of new applications or modification of existing software.
Analyze, design, and develop computer systems and programs.
Design, develop, and support a broad range of applications ranging from web applications, windows services, REST APIs, Windows Applications, and Linux/Windows console applications in a team environment.
Develop and implement software system testing.
Modify existing software to correct errors, or upgrade interfaces and improve performance.
Confer with users on technical issues and assist them in troubleshooting system problems.
Perform complex technical tasks accurately and within defined
deadlines.
Work in both small agile teams, cross-functional teams, and enterprise-wide teams. Contribute to, and participate in, methods and philosophies for improving software development lifecycles and processes, enterprise solutions, technology enhancements, and business integrations.
Full-time, hybrid, in-person at least one day per week.
Must pass pre-employment background check and drug testing.
Min. requirements:
U.S. bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical
Engineering, or related field.
Five (5) years of experience with all of the following: Web technologies (.NET
Core, Telerik Kendo UI, Asp.Net MVC, HTML5, MVVM, CSS, JavaScript and JQuery); C#; .Net (including SOAP, REST, WCF, Service Oriented Architecture); database design and development (Microsoft SQL Server); Enterprise.
Two (2) years of experience with all of the following: LINQ to SQL,
Entity Framework, NHibernate or other OR/M; GIT, concurrent development source control (TFS) and continuous integration; unit testing and mocking.
Two (2) years of experience in the development and maintenance of background screening software; forms management and applicant tracking systems
software. One (1) year Java experience.
Demonstrated understanding of design patterns and SOLID
principles.
