Job overview:

Schneider is seeking an Account Management Intern in Chicago, IL to provide support to Schneider's account managers. The Account Management Intern will gain an understanding of transportation, sales and customer service through training opportunities and hands-on work assignments.

Responsibilities:

• Build relationships and provide excellent service for existing customer accounts.
• Build loads, schedule appointments and track customer freight.
• Manage customer and internal communications with timely, accurate responses.
• Support issue resolution through cross-functional collaboration.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer value and support business growth.

Skills and qualifications:

• Currently enrolled at a college or university.
• Working toward a bachelor's degree.
• Able to work full-time over the summer.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Starting wage of $22.10 - $22.60 / hour.
• Able to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously
