Role: Accounting Coordinator The Accounting Coordinator plays an important role in supporting the organization’s day-to-day financial operations and ensuring accurate, timely, and well-organized financial information. This position is responsible for processing and reviewing transactions, monitoring company card activity, supporting reimbursement processes, and providing responsive service to internal and external stakeholders. Working closely with the Controller, directors, and managers, the Accounting Coordinator helps ensure financial processes are followed consistently, issues are addressed appropriately, and the Accounting function operates smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: - Gather, clean, organize and post transactions from multiple platforms - Provide exceptional and professional customer service to internal and external stakeholders - Monitor card use, escalate issues through proper channels - Professionally coordinate with directors and managers on card and reimbursement policies - All other duties assigned. Position Overview: Work Hours: Full-time or Part-time Compensation: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour Benefits: This position may be filled on a part-time or full-time basis. Benefit eligibility varies based on employment status and applicable plan requirements. Required Experience: - Associate's degree in accounting, business, business admin, or similar. - Experience will be considered in place of degree. - Microsoft office, Microsoft Excel; including tables & filters, lookup and sumifs functions. Preferred skills: - QuickBooks online. - An inquisitive mind. - The ability to keep up with repetitive tasks while keeping a positive attitude.
