This is an opportunity to build and evolve backend solutions focused on automation, integrations, and operational efficiency.
You will work across engineering, infrastructure, security, monitoring, and operations teams to solve complex technical needs.
The role combines hands-on development with API integrations, automation services, CI/CD, containers, and observability.
You will help reduce manual work, improve reliability, and create reusable solutions that can scale across the organization.
As a mid-level engineer, you will have autonomy to own medium-complexity initiatives from requirements through deployment and ongoing evolution.

• Identify and analyze automation and integration opportunities alongside engineering, infrastructure, security, monitoring, and operations teams.
• Design, develop, test, maintain, and evolve backend applications, services, APIs, libraries, and automation routines.
• Automate technical and operational processes to reduce manual activities, recurring failures, and execution time.
• Build integrations between internal systems, third-party platforms, and automation, management, and monitoring tools.
• Develop reusable, standardized components that improve maintainability and accelerate future implementations.
• Implement authentication, access control, error handling, retries, traceability, and other reliability mechanisms.
• Create and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure the quality and stability of delivered solutions.
• Use Git-based development practices, including branching, pull/merge requests, code reviews, and repository management.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for testing, validation, packaging, and application deployment.
• Package and run applications in containers and support their deployment and operation in corporate environments.
• Implement structured logs, metrics, traces, alerts, and other observability capabilities, while investigating incidents and identifying root causes.
• Apply software engineering best practices across architecture, security, performance, documentation, and maintainability.
• Produce technical documentation, API specifications, diagrams, runbooks, and operational procedures.
• Provide technical support and guidance to teams consuming the developed solutions and identify opportunities for continuous improvement throughout the solution lifecycle.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field; postgraduate education or specialization is a plus.
• Professional experience at a mid-level in backend development, automation, and system integrations, with the autonomy to handle medium-complexity demands and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong proficiency in Python for developing services, libraries, and automation routines, including modularization, dependency management, error handling, and data processing.
• Experience with Bash and working knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript for scripting, automation, and integrations.
• Hands-on experience developing, consuming, and integrating REST APIs, with knowledge of HTTP, authentication, pagination, webhooks, timeouts, retries, and failure handling.
• Solid experience with Git, including branches, commits, pull/merge requests, conflict resolution, code reviews, and repository organization.
• Knowledge of relational databases, SQL, basic data modeling, and application integration with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or equivalent technologies.
• Familiarity with JSON, YAML, XML, and other data serialization and exchange formats.
• Practical Linux knowledge, including command-line tools, permissions, services, processes, logs, task scheduling, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Docker and fundamental knowledge of Kubernetes concepts.
• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation, API specifications, diagrams, runbooks, operational procedures, and implementation records.
• Technical English sufficient for reading documentation, analyzing error messages, troubleshooting, and producing basic technical content.
• Knowledge of clean code, separation of responsibilities, reusability, maintainability, and code review practices is desirable.
• Experience with automated testing, mocks, code coverage, and unit/integration testing is a plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD platforms such as GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions is desirable.
• Knowledge of infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible and/or Terraform is a plus.
• Familiarity with observability practices, secure development, OWASP Top 10, authentication and authorization, secrets management, and pipeline security is desirable.
• Knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, IP addressing, routing, firewalls, VPNs, and basic to intermediate troubleshooting is a plus.
