Job Description

Description:

Rehza Inc. seeks a product-minded UI UX Designer to create clear, consistent, and accessible experiences across Rehza's homeowner mobile application, Builder Portal, Builder App, AI features, and related web experiences. The designer will turn user needs and product requirements into practical flows, wireframes, prototypes, polished interfaces, and implementation-ready specifications. This role requires strong visual and interaction design, sound product judgment, careful attention to detail, and ownership from discovery through development review and release.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan and conduct user research through interviews, surveys, workflow observation, competitive review, usability testing, support feedback, and product analytics when available.
  • Translate product requirements and user problems into information architecture, task flows, user journeys, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity interface designs.
  • Design intuitive mobile and responsive web experiences for homeowners, builders, sales teams, contractors, and internal users across Rehza's connected products.
  • Design complete workflows, including first-time use, loading, empty, success, validation, permission, error, offline, and recovery states rather than isolated screens.
  • Create and maintain Rehza's design system, including reusable components, variants, layout rules, typography, color, iconography, spacing, interaction patterns, and usage guidance.
  • Apply Rehza's approved brand standards consistently while selecting patterns that improve clarity, accessibility, trust, and ease of use.
  • Collaborate with product leaders, business analysts, developers, QA engineers, client-facing teams, and other stakeholders to understand constraints and evaluate design options.
  • Present design decisions clearly, explain the user and product rationale, incorporate relevant feedback, and document agreed changes and unresolved questions.
  • Prepare implementation-ready Figma files with clear component use, responsive behavior, annotations, states, assets, and developer handoff specifications.
  • Review implemented interfaces throughout development and QA; identify visual, interaction, responsive, and accessibility gaps and work with the team to resolve them before release.
  • Use prototypes and usability tests to validate important assumptions before development when the cost or risk of rework is meaningful.
  • Design AI-assisted experiences that clearly communicate system status, user control, limitations, confidence, errors, and privacy-sensitive actions.
  • Manage design priorities and files so current work, approved designs, archived concepts, feedback, and decisions are easy for the team to find and understand.
  • Use approved AI tools to support research, ideation, and production while checking originality and accuracy and protecting confidential information.
  • Maintain accurate records and perform all work in accordance with company policies, security requirements, and applicable laws.

Initial Success Priorities

  • First 30 days: learn Rehza's homeowner and builder products, users, brand standards, current Figma files, design system, development workflow, and release process; identify the highest-impact usability and consistency gaps.
  • Days 31 to 60: independently own the design of an assigned product workflow from discovery through approved prototype; improve file organization, component reuse, specifications, and the design feedback cadence.
  • Days 61 to 90: guide a meaningful workflow through implementation and design QA; demonstrate complete states, clear responsive behavior, fewer developer clarification loops, and timely resolution of visual and interaction issues.
  • First year: become a dependable product-design partner who improves usability, strengthens Rehza's visual consistency, expands the shared design system, and helps the team deliver polished mobile and web releases.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • Office-based position at Rehza's United States office, requiring dependable attendance and the ability to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Work hours will follow the applicable US office schedule, with reasonable flexibility for stakeholder meetings, product reviews, and release coordination.
  • Regular use of computers, phones, video conferencing, project-management systems, and other office technology.
  • Ability to remain stationary and communicate by phone or video for extended periods.
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Compensation

Compensation will be determined based on the approved budget, the candidate's directly relevant experience and qualifications, and internal equity. HR should communicate the approved salary range and benefits during the recruitment process.

Equal Employment Opportunity

Rehza Inc. is an equal opportunity employer. Employment decisions are based on business needs, job requirements, and individual qualifications without unlawful discrimination based on any status protected by applicable law. Rehza will provide reasonable accommodations to qualified applicants and employees with disabilities as required by law.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in interaction design, visual communication, human-computer interaction, graphic design, computer science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience designing production web or mobile software as a UI UX Designer, Product Designer, Interaction Designer, or similar role.
  • A portfolio showing the design process for at least two shipped or implementation-ready digital products, including the problem, constraints, exploration, decisions, and outcome. Screens without process explanation are insufficient.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, Auto Layout, prototyping, styles or variables, libraries, responsive layouts, and developer handoff.
  • Strong command of user flows, information architecture, wireframing, interaction design, visual hierarchy, typography, spacing, color, and reusable interface patterns.
  • Demonstrated experience designing both mobile and responsive web interfaces, including complete states, edge cases, error handling, and role-based experiences.
  • Working knowledge of accessibility principles and the ability to apply readable type, sufficient contrast, clear focus and error states, keyboard-aware patterns, and understandable content structure.
  • Ability to use research and usability findings to explain design decisions and revise work without losing the original user problem or product requirement.
  • Clear spoken and written English, including the ability to present work to US-based stakeholders and provide precise design documentation and feedback.
  • Working knowledge of Agile product delivery and experience collaborating with product, engineering, and QA from discovery through implementation review and release.
  • Strong ownership, product judgment, attention to detail, and follow-through, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver organized work on schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SaaS, proptech, construction technology, home services, marketplaces, or another workflow-heavy platform.
  • Experience designing AI-enabled features, document processing, search, chat, automation, recommendations, or other intelligent product experiences.
  • Experience with multi-tenant products, role-based access, complex forms, document workflows, notifications, dashboards, or third-party service integrations.
  • Experience building or governing a design system used across multiple products, platforms, or engineering teams.
  • Familiarity with product analytics, event tracking, heatmaps, session replay, experimentation, or other methods for evaluating product behavior.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, native mobile design conventions, and front-end constraints that affect responsive implementation.

Tools and Systems

Advanced proficiency with Figma and FigJam is required. The designer should also be comfortable with Jira, Confluence, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, and video-conferencing platforms. Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Miro, Maze, UserTesting, Hotjar, analytics tools, Storybook, Zeplin, or approved AI design and productivity tools is preferred.
