Contract Associate General Counsel – Healthcare
Location: Tennessee || Hybrid
Job Type: Contract

We are seeking an experienced Associate General Counsel / Healthcare Attorney to support healthcare regulation and disciplinary matters across rural Tennessee.

• Represent the department in administrative cases before healthcare licensing boards.
• Review complaints and investigations involving healthcare professionals.
• Work with investigators and licensing-board consultants.
• Handle disciplinary cases, including discovery, motions, negotiations, hearings, and trials.
• Manage multiple cases and deadlines.
• Assist with healthcare-related legislative projects and bill analysis.

• Juris Doctor (JD) required.
• Active Tennessee Bar license in good standing required.
• Litigation and trial/hearing experience.
• Experience with administrative law, healthcare law, professional licensing, or regulatory matters preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and work collaboratively.
