The Sales Manager will lead and oversee the sales team to drive revenue growth and expand market presence across designated regions within the United States. This role is pivotal in developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies that align with company objectives and maximize sales volume. The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing group sales initiatives and outside sales efforts, ensuring the team meets and exceeds sales targets. Additionally, the role involves designing and implementing effective sales training programs and incentive plans to motivate and enhance the performance of the sales force. Ultimately, the Sales Manager will play a critical role in fostering successful sales outcomes and sustaining long-term client relationships.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a regional or group sales capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of sales strategies, sales planning, and sales incentive programs.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in outside sales and managing geographically dispersed sales teams.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Advanced degree such as MBA or relevant sales certifications.
  • Experience in the specific industry related to the company’s products or services.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver effective sales training programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement regional and group sales strategies to achieve sales volume targets.
  • Lead, mentor, and train the sales team to improve skills and performance.
  • Manage outside sales activities, including client visits and relationship building.
  • Create and monitor sales plans and incentive programs to drive motivation and results.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to adjust strategies and improve sales effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales efforts with company goals.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management review.
